By purchasing any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

Agreement to Refund Terms

By purchasing any program, course, challenge, or digital product (collectively, the “Services”) from Detection Dog University, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you accept that:

  1. All purchases are final unless a specific refund is explicitly offered at the time of purchase;

  2. You have read, understood, and agreed to the conditions under which a refund may be provided;

  3. Attempting to bypass or circumvent this Refund Policy, including filing unauthorised chargebacks, constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service;

  4. This Refund Policy forms part of the legally binding agreement between you and Detection Dog University regarding your purchase.

Your continued use of the Services after purchasing constitutes acceptance of this Refund Policy, including any updates or modifications that may be made in accordance with our Terms.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds for Services are only available where explicitly stated on the sales page or in a written agreement.

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet all of the following conditions:

  3. You have actively engaged with the Service and attempted to complete the program, course, or challenge in accordance with the instructions provided;

  4. You have complied with all program rules and terms, including those outlined in the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (if applicable).

Refund requests that do not meet these requirements will not be approved.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  1. You change your mind after purchasing the Service;

  2. You claim the Service did not produce specific results, including improvements in training, dog behaviour, or program outcomes;

  3. You have accessed, downloaded, or shared any digital content or resources included in the Service;

  4. You attempt to obtain a refund via a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider without first contacting Detection Dog University;

  5. You fail to comply with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or program instructions;

  6. Any circumstances not explicitly covered in this Refund Policy or on the applicable sales page.

Detection Dog University reserves the right to deny any refund request if it determines that the above conditions have not been met.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a Service, you must follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Contact Detection Dog University by email at support@detectiondoguniversity.com with the following information:

    • Full name used for the purchase

    • Order number or proof of purchase

    • Reason for the refund request

  2. Submit your request within the timeframe specified on the relevant sales page or program terms (if applicable).

  3. Allow up to 14 business days for Detection Dog University to review your request.

  4. If your refund is approved, it will be processed via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  5. Refunds are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with this Refund Policy.

  6. Detection Dog University reserves the right to deny any refund that does not meet the requirements outlined in Sections 2 and 3.

Consumer Rights and Legal Compliance

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which may provide you with remedies that cannot be excluded by contract.

By purchasing any Service, you acknowledge that:

  1. You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy under the ACL if the Service is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet statutory guarantees;
